Buena Vista Palace Hotel and Spa in Orlando, Florida, USA is host to the IOF-ISCD Skeletal Health Meeting.

Buena Vista Palace, an official Walt Disney World® Resort, is a contemporary haven offering totally refurbished accommodations, a majestic new lobby and unsurpassed hospitality. Footsteps from the Downtown Disney® area, guests can also enjoy complimentary transportation to the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks.

We have secured a group rate of $165 for Single/Double occupancy, subject to state and local taxes (respectively 6.5% and 6%). Tax rates subject to change without notice. Additional fees will be applied per occupant if more than two. Upgraded rooms can be booked based upon availability at time of reservation. These do not fall under the group rate category. 

Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis and before January 27, 2014. After that date, no accommodation will be guaranteed. Delegates are requested to book their accommodation through the hotel online reservation system or the Central Reservation line at +1 866 397 6516 and identify themselves as ISCD-IOF Skeletal Health Orlando 2014 attendees.
 
This rate, guaranteed until January 27, 2014, will include in-room wireless, 24-hour access to the Cyber Cafe on the 1st floor, and daily membership to the Fitness Center.
 
Confirmation of booking will only be sent upon request by hotel.

Change and Cancellation of Hotel Reservations

All changes to hotel reservations will be handled through the Buena Vista Palace Hotel and Spa. Neither ISCD nor IOF are responsible for guest hotel reservations.

An early checkout fee will be charged in case of early departure, unless the hotel is advised at or before check-in of any change in the stay. No charge will apply for name change to a room reservation.

For cancellation received by the hotel at least three working days prior to arrival, no cancellation fees will apply. Attendees need to get a cancellation number from hotel in order to have their deposit refunded.

Check-in/Check-out Time

Hotel check-in time is 16:00. Check-out time is until 11:00. Extra costs apply for late check-out.

Room Guarantee and payment

A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold your accommodation.

Payment of accommodation may be made by:

  • Personal check (US only), corporate/business check money order (US only)
  • American express / Visa / Master Card / Diners Card / Carte Blanche by providing card number and expiration date

*All payments must be made in US Dollars (USD).

Group reservations

Attendees must book their hotel accommodations through the hotel online reservation system or the Central Reservation line at +1-866-397-6516 and identify themselves as ISCD-IOF Joint meeting attendees. There is no specific procedure for group reservations.

Liability and Insurance

The Meeting Organizers (IOF and ISCD), the Meeting Venue (Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa), and any suppliers, representatives or agents linked to the organization of the Meeting shall not be held liable by any person for any injury, damage, theft, loss, medical problem or inconvenience which may be suffered by any person while traveling to or from, or during such person’s presence in Orlando in connection with this Meeting. Participants and their guests are advised to purchase their own insurance against any such occurrences.

Force Majeure

The Meeting Organizers (IOF and ISCD), the Meeting Venue (Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa) and any suppliers, representatives or agents linked to the organization of the Meeting cannot be held responsible for either the partial or total non-execution of the contract in the event of acts of God, war within the continental US, governmental authority, disaster, strikes (exception: Hotel may not terminate the contract for situations involving the Hotel’s employees), civil disorder within 20 miles of the Hotel, curtailment of transportation facilities, or any other emergency making it illegal or impossible to provide the facilities or to hold the meeting.
